Award Winning Roses
These award winning roses have medals such as the RHS Award of Garden Merit, Gold Standard and various international awards. As well as the prestigious ‘Rose of the Year‘. – An annual award for the best new introduction by the British Association of Rose Breeders.
There are many cities that host rose trials these include Baden Baden, Bagatelle, Belfast, Geneva, Glasgow, Monza, Portland and The Hague. Winners can be selected based on strength of fragrance, longevity of flower as well as disease resistance.
The Rose Hall of Fame is also a international accredited list of roses by The World Federation of Rose Societies. This has been running since 1976 with Peace being the first selected. There is also an Old Rose Hall of Fame, all varieties selected here we grow.
