Vitax Bonemeal is an organic fertiliser which provides both phosphate and nitrogn, two elements essential for healthy plant growth. A slow, steady release of nutruents over a long perieod makes it an ideal fertiliser for not just roses but for bulbs, herbeceous plants, shrubs, fruit trees and strawberries.
For Roses: Apply as a top dress evenly around the base of the rose at an application of 140g/m2 in spring then every 6 weeks at 70g/m2 when plants are actively growing.
A gloved handful (35g) can be used within the excavated hole when planting bare root or potted roses.
