Mini Meadow with rootgrow is the ideal way to acheive a perfect habitat for pollinating insects, suitable for small and large gardens alike. Contains U.K native wild flower seeds, a soil conditioner and rootgrow UK origin mycorrhizal fungi, all designed to make the process of sowing easy and maximise the chances of good germination and strong early growth.
Establised wild flower meadows have extensive network of benefical fungi and bacteria breaking down and transporting soil nutrients to the plants. Flowers attract insects by providing them with two rich sources of food – nectar and pollen. This provides a complete diet for bees and their larvae, but will also attract various beetles, bugs, butterflies and moths. Our gardens can be like stepping stones between nature reserves and other natural habitats.
Ideally sown in Spring or Autumn. Seed germination should commence within 28 days, weather depending.
