Modern Shrubs are a large assortment of mostly more modern hybrids of very mixed ancestry. All highly useful in their own individual ways. For the most part they were developed in the 20th century and do not fall into other groupings.
Our Rose (a.k.a. Sunny Day), has large, fragrant, double pure yellow flowers with a wavy edge, set against nice, mid-green foliage. Healthy and hardy, with good repeatability, it makes a good bushy shrub.
Pruning Guide: Prune in February/ March. Prune very lightly in the first year, reducing stems by no more than 1/3. In subsequent years, growths can be reduced by up to 1/2 to leave a beautifully shapely plant.
