More about Modern Bush Roses:
Modern Bush Roses are recent Hybrid Tea (Large Flowered) and Floribunda (Cluster Flowered) rose introductions. The long flowering season, bushy growth and good resistance to disease make them excellent garden plants. As a general rule they tend to be shorter and more compact than the Modern Shrub varieties. They can be used in many ways either individually or as massed planting.
Jenny’s Rose has pretty soft pink, semi-double blooms set against glossy dark green, healthy foliage. With a lovely fragrance, upright habit and good disease resistance, it was awarded the Gold Medal at Glasgow International Rose Trials in 2001. Comes with a high recommendation by breeders Cants of Colchester.
Pruning Guide: Prune in February/ March. Prune very lightly in the first year, reducing stems by no more than 1/3. In subsequent years, growths can be reduced by up to 1/2 to leave a beautifully shapely plant.
