Katie’s Rose is a velvety deep red bush rose which repeat flowers throughout the summer. Highly centered blooms form, then gradually open to reveal a yellow center. Compact upright shape with lovely mid-green foliage. Size: 120cm x 80cm.

Modern Bush Roses such as Katie’s Rose are recent Hybrid Tea (Large Flowered) and Floribunda (Cluster Flowered) rose introductions. The long flowering season, bushy growth and good resistance to disease make them excellent garden plants. As a general rule they tend to be shorter and more compact than the Modern Shrub varieties. They can be used in many ways either individually or as massed planting.
Pruning Guide: Prune in February/ March. Prune very lightly in the first year, reducing stems by no more than 1/3. In subsequent years, growths can be reduced by up to 1/2 to leave a beautifully shapely plant.
